After a long time, our Molly wood film industry has acquired a new face. It has captured trade in all areas of life , be it human relation, food, and other harsh realities of life. The entry of so many new young directors had made a tremendous change in fields of script writing, like in ‘Traffic’ by Rajesh Pillai, ‘chaappakurishu’ by Sameer Thahir, ‘22 female kottayam’ and ‘salt n pepper’ by Aashiq Abu, which are revolutionised the molly wood industry.
New comers and their movies are given a hearty welcome with great applause. Their contribution to our film industry is really valuable. As the big budget superstar movies era get flopped in the box office such as cobra, Casanova, and the low budget movies starring new faces are greatly accepted by the common people.
People are also ready to accept these new changes. Because they have got bored by the repeating theme of the stories. Now they like the simple stories such as salt n pepper, chaappakurish, traffic etc…And they also like the new style of script writing and directing. Nowadays, the people also reject the highly exaggerated movies having heroes with extra ordinary power , which is unbelievable in our modern world.. They need the stories of our contemporary life, which is interesting and at the same time need a critical approach.
But it is also a fact that, the majority of the young people, came to know about the movies like ‘Adaminte makan Abu’ and ‘vellaripravinte changathi’, which contain great moral values only after it received national and state awards.
Let us hope for more and more experiments in our film industry, which will make us proud….
